Hi Guys,
I have a another problem that I am facing with configuration of email client services in my P910i…. As the P910i supports POP3 and IMAP accounts, so I found out a free IMAP account “bluebottle.com”. I tried to configure this account in my mobile as per the information provided to me by the account....Following is the configuration done in p910i
Basic configuration
1. my email address
xxxxxxxxxx@bluebottle.com
2.connection type: IMAP ( even tried with POP3 Option)
3. internet account: selected the correct GPRS network.
Inbox Configuration
1. User name: Gave in my email address… also tried giving just my name without @ bluebottle.com
2. Password Gave correct password
3. Incoming Mail server: mail.bluebottle.com ( this was given at faq’s in bluebottle site)
Outbox Configuration
1. Outgoing server address: 1st I gave smpt.bluebottle.com… then I tried same address as for incoming mail server. This is also given at the site.
I clicked SMTP Authentication as described in the note
But when I try to connect to my mail box it just tries to connect to mail.bluebottle.com and after some time says “time out”
Can any one help me, and tell me what I am missing here
I have tried with different port numbers too….
Can someone try it out in his mobile and let me know some tips to that....

1. Do you have a GPRS Internet account or just a GPRS WAP account. GPRS Internet is required to access non WAP servers.
2. Maybe the problem is because the P910 email client does not handle SSL, so you can not use encryption => an alternate would be to try ProfiMail which does support SSL.

I have a GPRS account. I can though brouse into HTTP sites which are not WAP enabled... Here in india your GPRS Internet account refers to a account where in you can brouse the web sites from your PC using the connection from your cell phone... the other GPRS is just brousing from your cell to any internet site.... since P910i supports XHTML pages so i can brouse to www sites along with wap sites....

I use the email cient with an IMAP provider, without any problems. The provider I use is
www.fastmail.fm Try them with a free account to see if it is a Bluebottle issue.
