Hello, I'm new to this phone and my charger is causing concern. My phone is lit up throughout charging (my keys are backlit etc) and my charger wire appears to be faulty, please help?

If you haven't already tried this.........go into settins and select display/light and then select power save option. The phone should go into standby mode after a short period when charging.
If the charger wire seems to be faulty, take it into the shop or phone the provider and get them to send you a replacement. If it's faulty then they should replace it.

Go to menu 'Settings' -> tab 'Display' -> menu point 'Light' and set this to 'Automatic' instead of 'Power save'. Then your K700i shouldn't be lit up anymore during charging.

If your firmware is R2A then the light wont go off i believe. Upgrade to the latest firmware.
