The very first thing i want to say is, I want you guys to correct me if i'm wrong pls~~ hahaha.... Me kinda Stuck between my SE K700i or a Nokia 7610...

Vs.

All becos of Symbian OS technology... Any help will be Thankful!!! thanks....

Symbian OS is good, what have you ever notice what so good about it... I know it can install 3rd party software to your handphone, but what 3rd party software you are actually interested in??? Have you ever ask urself?

In the past where mp3 player is rare in mobile phones, I do agreed is great to have Symbian OS since you can actually install mp3 player into your phone! But since K700i has a mp3 player do u still need that software?

However, i want to make another point here, with the aid of Symbian OS you can rest asure that in the furture new feature are out, the Symbian OS new feature software might already be there for you... Yet, how long is the lifespan of your phone? that's the question you shld ask urself...

But do keeop in mind, there's still stuff that even Symbian OS are not capable of doing... Can Symbian OS actually install Radio feature? You need the hardware to work... Thus at this very point of view K700i is still standing strong with it's build-in radio...

So significantly the usage of Symbian OS dropped with compare to a SE K700i... But in the future? Symbian OS will jolly well be standing strong...

@mp3juz4u

did u steal my thread? symbian is good. i wud prefer it over software. but come on be rational. is radio that necessary? you could always use a portable radio that comes even smaller and better. ehy do you need it in a phone. agreed. you might want that. but is that the only reason not to choose a phone? because it has no radio? i guess you can have an enhancment head set that can support radio. like the hbm's for (its for mp3, but whatever it is for radio.) 7610 has a huge screen. the screen on the k700i is better. i am not sure with next part, but doesnt the nokia have a mp cam?

Yes the 7610 does have a 1 mp cam. I would prefer a symbian OS in exchange for the radio anytime. I dont use it much anyway.
