Hi,
I've just replaced the motherboard in my old system with an Asrock P4VT8+ and reinstalled XP+SP1+SP2.
I've connected everything up, and the Syncstation is recognised as being on a USB hub, but the phone connection link icon gives me the choice of COM1 & COM3, Device manager tells me I have a USB Serial port error (can't install the driver) and the phone doesn't connect, and isn't looked for.
I've uninstalled the drivers etc., and PC Suite (1.51), then reconnected phone and installed etc., but no joy.
I'm stumped, as it was ll working before. I can't seem to find any drivers for a 'USB Serial port' on the internet.
Thanks for any help...

drivers you can get from here.
http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]3_2&zone=ps&lm=ps1_1&pid=10101 and also download the newest pc suite v 3.1.1 from the same page under ''syncronzation'' you are using the first pc suite with to many bugs. after that you must go to control panel/ security center/ firewall/exeptions/ and find the option ''mrouter runtime'' and unblock it. after that double click the phone connection icon at the task bar and check the comm ports that you want to connect to.
