> Question re P800 video player

Hey guys... I no longer have my P800 so I'm wondering what the latest firmware version is...and if it now allows fullscreen horizontal playback of videos like on the P900 and P910. Thanks!

Just upgraded my firmware to CXC162001 R2DR (organiser), the latest the last time I checked. And yes, it does allow horizontal, full-screen viewing of video clips (simply tap on the clip)

That's great news... cuz prior full screen videos were VERY choppy.
My friend will be happy to hear that since he has a P800 and I've been helping him set it up with apps and videos.
Does it also have a video recorder? Or is the Camcorder still the only solution for the P800?

they said it can play full screen
they didnt say it played WELL in full screen
i have the latest firmware and if you ask me, full screen videos are not watchable
the best way to watch videos i have found so far is portait mode in smartmovie
with a VOB direct show filter, you can convert straight from decrypted dvd files, thus you can get very good frame rates
