Hello,
I've got very serious problem with my p800 - it is dead ;(
I tried to install some new software yesterday,
and all seemed successfull, till installing the last software
I lacked the space. Installation aborted, and p800 became
very very slow, terribly lagging. I uninstaled edoom,
and it became working almost normally. But in the morning
I found it switched off, althoug battery remaining was ~50%.
It worked with strange lags in the morning, till I switched
it off and tried to switch on again. It did not switch on again !
After pressing power button, it gives vibro, showing that button
is pressed, but does not switch on !
If anybody knows what can be done - please, write me a letter directly - fantomas@bermudai.lt Thank You !

calm down mate.. if youīre experiencing the same as me, the phone will continue not to turn on for a few hours or so (perhaps you should recharge the battery), and suddenly it will turn on as usual. When that happened to me I performed a master reset and afterwards everything was fine again (though Iīve never learned what and why this was happening).

Good Luck

Thanx for replies guys,
The question about master reset also -
what will I loose doing it ? Settings only ?
I have great skin loaded now, and I do not have the source to reload it ;( Will it remain ? Will remain installed programs ? Also, can master reset be done without turning the phone on ?

You will lose everthing except the installed firmware. Yes, also your skin and settings. And no, master reset canīt be done without switching your phone on.

But if it once turns on again, try to make a backup (if you havenīt done yet), the backup file - .ecs - is a regular zip-file where you can extract a lot of stuff and move back to your phone (even the skin) without reinstalling the faulty installations & settings

guess itīs the generally provided security code: either 0000, 00000 or 1234 (maybe 12345?) - you could check the manual..

Had no chance ;(
When it switched on, i could only watch how it said
"Internal file system is unusable, it will be formatted"
and it got formatted ;(
Everything what was not on memory stick has gone ;(
Any chances to undelete data ?

Nope mate - sorry. Guess you havenīt made any backup before?

And - at least it is working again
What was so special about the skin - there are many pages providing a lot of skins and you can even ask in this forum for it..
