Following on from my heavy hearted decision to desert my K700i for a 6230 was thinking as to why no manufacturer can supply us with the perfect phone.....I know that peoples idea of perfect is subjective but am sure we all want nice large screens, changable SMS tones good fitting covers etc etc. If I could design a phone using features from the K700i & 6230 I would be in mobile heaven.............

why would a company want to do that?
cos when they release a new one... no-one will buy it cos everyone will have the "perfect phone". u get me?

Yeah....I get you. Just wishful thinking really. Do you honestly think manufacturers deliberatly leave basic things of high end handsets though just to encourage us to keep on buying? It works on me though cos I change my handset monthly and it drives my wife nuts.
Have to say even if a mobile had everything you currently wanted surely technological advances would ensure punters keep buying new phones....just find it so frustrating getting a phone I love apart from the fact I have to have a poxy preset SMS alert..............

as someone said in a thread similar to this one, the company could put in the latest technology in one handset, and it still wouldn't be perfect because there are always new technological breakthroughs. I wish companies would utilise this fact.

Lets put it on that way: even we used-use many models, one of those will be always a favourite, wich one served us the best at usage and had a great design. This is of course individual.
