Hi,
I am definitely getting an upgrade soon, and a phone Orange have recently put as coming soon is the new Nokia 6630, now alot of you are just gonna say stupid things like Nokia is awful, but this phone is perfect for my usage.
It is 3G which is just an enhancement for me, a 1.23 megapixel camera, (CCD or CMOS, I don't know), and it has expandable memory.
This will all be a huge improvement over the K700i for me, I only have a few queries...
Camera, (CCD or CMOS)?
Reduced Size MMC, does this mean less at more price?
Sizing What Do you think, I'm not too bothered?
Worth it as an Upgrade?
Thanks for your answers in advance, and in case you don't know what this phone looks like here are some pictures...

Also, will the phone take regular MMC's because, I now know that the RS MMC's are more limited on sizes at the moment?
Anyone?

as far as i know the phone only takes rs mmc as these are smaller. i think you can get upto 512mb rsmmc cards at the min so they are increasing the range
as for the camera lens havent got a clue but heres a review i found on the phone with some pics so you can see if you like the look of the camera. have to say i was impressed with them

The phone is really not bad but it is just that, it is so ugly in my opinion

its personal taste i guess. i think its ok as it looks different. i think that the s700 looks fantstic when closed but open i think it looks really cheap and tacky. but again its down to personal tastes if we all liked the same i guess it would be a boring old world

I like the S700i also when it is closed, but when it is open, that matte grey keypad with what looks like glittery keys really puts me off, I think this looks pretty nice, and it is all very refined and not tacky at all like the S700's key pad can look sometimes.
I think this could be a good upgrade, I just have to wait now until it is available which is my least favourite part by far!

this is definitely a good upgrade overall, I just don't like the design. I'd advise you to check the camera quality though as most Nokia cameras produce bad colors in general.

The 6630 has a CMOS sensor.

Hmmm, from the digital camera review posted on mobile-review it would appear that the 6630 has a better camera than the S700i. Perhaps the test results are a little misleading, because 'standard settings' were used, and many seem to feel that by editing the S700i settings u can get better results. I'm very tempted by both the S700i and 6630, and will be popping down to my Vodafone store to try out both tomorrow! Might well purchase one or the other, so I'll let u know my thoughts

Thanks guys, I am definitely gunning for the 6630, I would like the S700i, but A) Orange don't have it, and B) The S700i, has a S-Ericsson has a Firmware made by the company and the 6630 has Symbian software, and allows for the N-Gage games,
Anyway, I'll probably go for 6630 and also it is 3G which means, some high speed data transport on the move!
Please continue to post your thoughts as I value them all!
