> Anyone amazed about K500i ?

Hi there...
i own a K500i and i am wondering if anyone beside me is amazed about this phone, i understand that it's a derivative of the K700i (which i try and don't like it's shape).
i've seen tons and tons of people talking about the Motorola V3 RAZR, but when you think features wise, the K500i beats this one hands down, it's also looks awesome (V3 looks kinda lika a Sandwitch

)...
the K500i cost 10 times less, it might not be flashy (all alloy and metal like the V3 , which i find ugly)...but it's more advanced and can do stuff the V3 probably can't....
and before you mention, yes i know it lacks Radio & Blutooth...but i got IRDA (hate blutooth amount of crap the software installs on the PC) and that works brilliant.
oh....3Dgames on K500i

...V3 = 600-700$ , no 3Dgames....just poor ol' Java
in the end......anybody amazed about this small / inexpensive/ fantastic phone called K500i ??
cause honestly ...I AM !!

Yes i'm amazed. But only when its compared to a phone like the Razr. But here in India, for the same price as the K500, i can get a Nokia s60 smartphone. Many Nokias even cost less! So for me, at its current price it ain't value for money for me! But on the whole its a good phone.

good point.
Speaking of which....the S60 Smartphone, which i owned a Nokia 6600 along with my ALL-TIME-WARRIOR Ericsson T610, the Symbian S60 honestly are excellent, i sold the 6600 because for all it's worth, when i touched the K500i i knew this was the phone for me ...kinda....Love @ first sight.....as it happend on my 1st phone, the T610 which i kept for 1.5 years.
the nokia lasted 2 month, loved all the software "and warez" stuff you could get....but in the end, K500i can record videos / have Mp3 ringtone (not on 6600), etc....
so for the price & after trying tons of mobiles phone from Siemens / Moto/ Samsung / etc.....
SE K500i stole my heart all over again, just like the T610

These Nokias offer me everything i need- from memory expandability to Bluetooth, decent cam, good screen, at a lower price. I don't care how a phone looks. Its only its functionality that matters.

I've got a K500 I use when I'm in places where my phone might be at risk of getting a bash or two.
It's reliable and has all the features I need to be avalable, drop by Esato and piles (OK, a litle pile) of other features to keep me occupied.
I tend to stick to my P910, or my S700, but as a phone number two (Eh... number three that would be then...) it's brilliant.
I like the looks, user friendliness and the screen is fab!

I tried my friends K500 and i was really amazed. A great phone! The design is so much better in real life. It is also one of the worlds most powerful Java-phones, actually more powerfull than the K700.

I own a K500i, and it's EXCELLENT!!! Before ive had a Nokia.
I agree, i don't like Nokia's user interface, it's so dull and it's not animated at all. I wanted a phone which wasnt just fun but looked fun with bright menu colours etc. The use of themes is gr8, tho nokia are catching up (they've put the ability to change themes on the 3220, not just the menu colours). But this feature on the 3220 doesn't reallt change the shape of menu's, just backgrounds and colours.
Anyways, MP3 tones are LOUD and clear which is what i'm most pleased with. This fone is gr8!
