> Orange shops have Z1010 in UK
Bookmark topic
I was shocked today when I looked in an Orange shop window in Preston & saw a silver/grey Z1010 sitting there!
Free on a Ģ49 tariff & Ģ50 on lower ones I think (didn't study prices too close)

Announcements mean NOTHING!
Believe it when u see it, the Z1010 was announced what seems like about 10years ago but it never came out did it.
Vodafone were meant to get it too but I don't see it there do you?
Hence the shock is that it's actually there!

Orange have been telling people for the last 3 months it was to be there launch phone wapchimp also posted he was testin one for orange axxxr thread on orange 3g launch has been about a few weeks. So the info s been out there and from the horses mouth. Unlike the voda info which was never confirmed by voda themselves.

Well i have seen a dummy in the orange shop, so it defenitely is true!
And yes miklsp, announcments do mean nothing. The carphone warehouse and expansys announced about 6-7 months ago that the z1010 would be hitting the shelves soon. And did it? Of course not!
But at least orange have the z1010 now, and i am gonna go and have a go on one. Regards

I was just having fun. On announcements i agree when its a third party ie car phoneware house but if the company in question makes it its not good for business look at the complaints leveled against se for missing announcement deadlines in the past

Still think the V800 looks better.
It is slightly slimmer than the Z1010 as well isn't it?
I had a look at a dummy Z1010 in Orange shop at the weekend and was still pleased that I have my trusty small K700!

How much is it SIM-free?
Just wondering if itīs still a good idea to import.
*or in my case - export*

sadly thats still one of the draw backs of the 3g service at the min the phones are all so big. alot look great in pics like the v800 got my hands on one yesterday and i do mean hands needed 2 to hold it. i am sure they will get smaller as more come out.
but this is the one thing that puts me off from going 3g
