Is there an app where i can settle the intensity on the background light on P900? I think there are times when i want to reduce background light to save battery.
I know that P910 firmware on my P900 alow me to do that but i don't wanna change to that.

Anyone knows about such an app? I've searched my symbian but couldn't find it.

P910 flrmware is the answer and it's WELL worth getting.
My 'P905' is MUCH more stable and I love the new browser & apps and lets not forget Duo Pro support!!

Is the RAM on P900 enough for it? I think that RAM on P900 is a problem, on some "heavy" web sights i get the "not euough memory" message. I used to use handy day but don't now, it takes to much RAM.
I've heard that P910 firmware makes P900 slower, whats your opinion?

Apparently it's slower if u don't do a Master Reset & Format after the update so I did those immediately & I don't have any problem with it being slow.
I also don't keep lots of apps running in the background either (as I never have done)

My P900 used to crash at least 3-4 times a week but now as a P905 it has only crashed ONCE in 2months!!!
The browser is excellent & all apps work perfectly.

The only problem is that Bluetooth doesn't work with headsets. File transfer etc is fine though.
I love having Duo Pro, I couldn't go back to 128MB from 512MB now!

Yes, 128MB is not much if you wan' t some MP3's in the phone.
I never have app's in the background, except for S-man.

If i do a master reset and formatting can i then restore with my latest backup or should i start from the beginning?

I have been without my P900 for a couple of month's since i bought it for 6 month's ago, the last time they replaced it with a new one.
I don't know if i'm ready to send it away for firmware upgrade, SE here in sweden take 10-14 days for service.
I think about it for a while...

SE won't give u the P910 firmware, u need to find someone who can do it.
handymobilez uk did mine but obviously he's in England not Sweden but he does it with same day turnaround I believe.

I don't know about doing a restore from P900 as I just started again & setup manually, beamed contacts by BT from another phone & made a 'clean but setup' backup

Remember, u could always put P900 f/w back on it but I don't think u'd want to

Ok, thanks for your advice.

Back to the question i asked first. Do anyone know about an app wich you can regulate the light intensity on P900? The P910 firmware uppgrade isn't the way i want to go right now...

Light intensity control is actually the number 2 biggest improvement of P910 over P900 for me; number one being more RAM. Sometimes the light is just too much or really unneeded to save battery.

I doubt the P900 can handle the P910 FW without any hiccups. I also hate to mess with Bluetooth on any level with possible unpredictable results. My P900/Mac OSX Bluetooth setup is just too perfect to mess with.

Please, anyone here can find such a beast?

What do u think my P905 is?! Many people have P910 firmware on a P900 with the only problem being that the BT doesn't work with headsets. This because the BT hardware is different in P910 however file transfer etc with BT all works perfectly.
