Ive just got my nice new P910i and got the bundled dss25 with it. Ive also got bluetooth and IRda capailities on my comp. Anyhow i cant for the life of me get the phone to connect in any way to my comp. Ive tried pairing them on BT ive tried fiddling with teh com ports for the usb cradle. im out of ideas. Is there a guide anyway? Im using xp sp2 ive heard there are sum compatiblity issues there but i dont want to revert be to sp1. any ideas would be very helpful thanks

I have WinXP SP2 and have no problems at all. Search the forum, there are many suggestions for solving these problems.

i have tried searching but nothing seems to help tbh. i think its a com port problem. Where do u have to set which port it uses? What program do u use to look through the folder contents of the phone and send aps and stuff across?

Have you booked and activated the COM-port? Control panel->Phone monitor options->COM-ports.
To find out which COM-port the sync-station use, look in Device manager->Ports->SEMC DSS SyncStation.
Installed the latest PC Suite 3.1.1?
Tried to connect the SyncStation to another USB-port?
Firewall/AntiVirus? Some say you should disable those, but I have no problem with them enabled and SP2.

- check for firewall software on your PC. Also you may have connected the sync station prior to installing the software- which isnt always a good thing. Remove the software start from scratch - hopefully you get it second time lucky.
