I went in to the cpw and asked if they could but a generic firmware on my p910i as i cant change the stupid voda wap settings.
They said that they could put new software on it, but were unsure what it would do.
Is that what i need??
What exactly should i ask for?

Chances are if that's the way they are talking, it looks like they will just update the Voda firmware to the latest re. which will solve nothing.
There is a company in London called aboveconnection who can do generic flashes. May be better sending your phone to them.
