Hi all,

I noticed that when I shift from standard quality to smaller quality (pressing the 1 key when preparing to shoot), videos are of course smaller in size but they do seem less blurry and pixellised.

Have you noticed it ?

It is something I didn't suspect because I thought I'd never use the low-quality mode, but it does seem to better things up.

Same goes for normal pics too. You can get better night shots with smaller resolution.

Indeed, that's why I never use the extended quality mode for pictures: it is just an interpolation of 640/480...

The only time I ever use the 1280 function is for when it is bright, and it is clear, and only then if I want the pics on my laptop, also they take up more memory and time to interpolate!

Not too much use if any if you just keep pics on your phone, but if you take them off, then of course the 1280x960 can come into some use, Charlie.
