I'm thinking of debranding my Vodafone S700i (do you blame me??
) and was wondering if this effects the use of the SE US at all? i.e. will it notice that the IMEI is of a Vodafone Live handset, and install the latest vodafone firmware, or will it ignore that fact and install the latest firmware with the same customization (none).
And with regards to the debranding, when i buy my credit, do i get a lifetimes worth of updated firmwares with it? (only for the one phone ... locked down by IMEI?) or do i have to pay for each update of firmware i download/install?
Any information would be helpful, so if you think it is relevant to my situation, please post

I guess people havent replied because these questions have been answered a thousand times. So simple answer is yes it will affect tryin to udate from official SE website so you will need to continue with Total server.
If they say you will have lifetime updates then I guess thats what it will be. I dont think it is locked to a specific imei.
