Does anyone know of a freeware program that enables you to "clean up" noise on pics taken with my phone?

DO you have any idea how rediculous that sounds? "Noise Reduction on Pics". But meh, I know what you mean.

Unless you are willing to spend a good half hour in photoshop on each pic (depending on how bad they are) I don't know a program that can do it automatically.

of course there are going to be programs that do this!

You can change the balance of the photographs, or slightly soften them, that works for me with a program such as adobe photoshop (download trial version).

Defenitly worth it! (if you have any more problems then pm me )

I use thumbsplus and Paint shop pro and they both have a "cleanup jpg" option which works fairly good. just one click.

while they are not free I'm sure both these programs have trial versions (60 days with PSP I recall) and if you ask me they are good programs for cataloging your pics and doing other changes so you might find justification in spending some money and they are not too expensive for what they offer

Don't PC and camera mags usually offer slightly old versions but free programs such as paint shop?

One of the best and most advanced app for noise reduction is Neatimage, you can download a full version at their websight. The only restriction with the demo is that you only can save in Jpeg but that wouldn't be a problem if you gonna use it for your Pxxx-pictures.
Maybee the app is a little bit overkill for mobile pictures but it's simply the best!
