been checking the P910a support page periodically and today I saw that an Update Service link appeared. I tried to click it but it gave a 404 message.

Haven't tried it with my phone in the cradle yet. Would that make it work?

Anybody update their P910a yet?

EDIT: Tried it with the phone in the cradle, but it loads a blank page. I will check back and report if it works and what the new firmware is.

What browser are you using? If you're using Mozilla, try using IE instead. It worked for me with my P910i.

Ran the update service and it said my system was already up to date.

These are my sw versions:
Phone: R4A006
Bluetooth: R2C
Organizer: R2A17
CDA: R2A16

I just purchased a p910a a couple of weeks ago and the organiser version for me is R3A04 while the update site says the latest version is R2A17. Anyone else have this?

My new P910a also has R3A04 while the update page indicates the most recent is an older version...

sorry for this but I really would like to know what's the difference in P900, P910, P910a & P910i

The P900 is basically the older model. It has less memory, a lower quality screen, can't use DuoPro Memory Sticks and doesn't have a qwerty keyboard.

The P910a/i/c are all regional differences of the same phone. They have different languages installed and the p910a has the GSM 850 band instead of 900.

The firmware for each of the P910 models is different, so a P910a can't be updated online with P910i firmware.
