is it possible to use an tone for the people who are on hold?
Is there software for or some like that?
Who can help me.

I would have thought that this sort of caper would be more of a network issue rather than a handset issue.

i had a phone a while ago who had a wait tone.
Everybody who was on hold heard some music.
So just wanted to have this on my p910i
im still looking for it so if anyone has it please let me know

At present I know of no UIQ software that will give you wait tones.
At present it is a Network feature; at least here in the United Kingdom it is.
And, as far as I am aware, the only network that gives you a On Hold/Wait tone is T-Mobile UK.
The tone is a serious of two rapid beeps every two or three seconds so that the caller knows that they are on hold and that the line hasn't simply gone dead. And I think they are now offering the paid option to have melodies instead of the beeps.
