They are part of the firmware and hence cannot be deleted. This also means they do not use up any of your 'user' memory anyway so no need to remove them

If you would like to delete things like that from your phone you can download File manager from
http://se-p900-software.epocware.com/PC_File_Manager.html

Yeah I know what u mean.
Remember though u can set folders for your applist so u could simply put your 'unwanted' apps in a different folder

No! but the thing is you can delete chess and solitaire!
It not burned on the firmware you can just highlight the folders to chess and solitaire>rightclickdelete! Look at the pic!
I wouldnt reccomend deleting file manager thought you need that.
The file manager from
http://se-p900-software.epocware.com/PC_File_Manager.html
is one you can use on your pc whilst your p900 is connected through the cradle,

I can't see the picture as it doesn't work properly on HTML Light.
Which files exactly are u deleting? All Chess & Solitaire files are on the Z:\ drive on my phone and so can't be deleted.

Have u tried yourself?
Attempting to delete the following folder:
Z:\System\Apps\GSChess
will produce the error message saying it is a read-only file and cannot be deleted.
