Has anyone else noticed that the weather report in Worldmate pro is not very accurate, in fact in my case its entirely wrong. I keep on getting "scattered thunderstorms" as the weather for my hometown when it has been quite sunny of late. Just wondering if anyone else has faced this problem, how accurate is the weather forecast and whats the best soultion. Thanks

It is showing very correct in my case (Sweden) but HandyDay 2005 is showing no correct weather about Bangkok. I told Epocware already and they promised to check it up but there is still TOO cold:-)

@alpal

worldmate pro comes with only 5 pre-set cities for malaysia: ipoh, kuala lumpur, kuching, penang and sibu. if u're outta these cities' range, i don't think u'll get the accurate results. in fact, i agree with u on this too, not only the weather forecast but also its currency converter. and the flight schedules are totally hopeless!

btw, where is your hometown?

They get their weather data from the USA, "The Weather Channel", so the accuracy is probably fine for the USA.

This is their site: http://www.w3.weather.com

As for the fligh schedules, they are supplied by OAG who are the worlds biggest airline scheduling info company. But once again they can only give what info they have been given by the airline companies. I know their CD subscription is updated once a month.

But I look at a lot of weather forecast for Malaysia, its also scattered thunderstorms. I doubt it's the fault of Worldmate, instead maybe Malaysia's weather forecast were never accurate in the first place?
