does anyone know if stacker software decreases internal disk and/or memory stick lifetime?

Why would it? It compresses/decompressed on the fly, and so takes up less space on the memory stick. RAM has no moving parts.

No it shouldn't have any such effect.

Not atall, the stacker prog should in no way affect the life of the memory stick or phone memory card as compression/decompression is done when a service or program on the phone is chosen. Also, as was mentioned in the earlier post, it has no moveable parts so it would in no way harm the memory stick or phone memory.
