I have been able to transfer almost everything from my sony E T306 to my PC and back.
How??
Well installed a USB to IrDA converter from SigmaTel
on my WinXP PC and after messing about with this install got it finaily to see the phone.
You should get an "Send files to another computer" icon on your desktop when the adapter is pluged in AND the phone is switched ON and pointing at it.
If you the select on the phone the IR port and then go ahead and select send via IR what it is you want to send thhen XP will ask if you want to recive this and the pkace it onto your desktop.
Now what to do with some of these files I'm still looking into that...
