> SMS Delivery report code?
Bookmark topic
What is the code that u write at the start of an SMS on O2-UK which makes it give u a delivery report? I know there definitely is one.
I'm sure u all know that the normal delivery report requested by the phone doesn't work on O2

Thanks, that's the one.
Strangely though the delivery report comes as a text with the person u sent it to as the sender. As though they have sent u the message when obviously they haven't it's surely from o2, if u know what I mean.
I hope it doesn't cost that person as though they sent it

hey yea *0# is correct, rather annoyin that O2 dont allow delivery messages the usual way because I think that se delivery msg system is pretty gd. Afaik, it doesnt cost the sender...I have been using this o2 delivery code for ages and havent had any complaints from anyone about big bills because of me!

Thanks
I also assume the *0# doesn't show on the message they receive or people would be always replying sayin "why did u write *0#"

No, it doesn't show up! I use that technique for del reports a lot, you don't even need a space after the *0#, so you only use 3 characters not 4
