Hi Folks,

I've been try to access Internet on my Sony K700i for last 2 days but no luck as yet. I do not want to connect via GSM/GPRS. I want my computer's connection to be used on the phone.

Just Once I saw my computers name in "Connect Using" than the usual "GSM/GPRS" options.

I've connect my phone to the system via bluetooth. How do I setup an internet on my phone using my computers connection thats always on?

I don't believe that's possible. It's kind of pointless to try and surf the internet on your phone, through your computer, when your computer is right next to you doing a far superior job.

Right. But since I saw an option to do it but cant find it anymore, I'm eager to do it. I dont want to leave anything unexplored

It showed my computer name in "Connect Using" but shows only "GSM/GPRS" now.

you cant open ur gprs via sms unless your network provider specifically assigns over the air configuration.but then again,configuration and activation are two different things.some lines are pre-activated,some aren't and u need to talk 2 ur operator about it,although u may hav d right configuration.if u are using GLOBE,and i HOPE u are coz smart sucks,although they sound so good in tv, just text GO(space)handset model and send it to 2951.
