Is it just me or can anyone else confirm that the font size and also the calender is about a double the size on the K500 as opposed to the K700. Seems strange that the lush screen of the K700 is only really utilized for photo's etc. Paid £80 for my K500i and am really now convinced that the K700i at £180 is overpriced in relation to it.

hmmm. dont know. but there is no option to change the font size. there is such an option in 230.

From my recollection you can change the text font size on the 700 but it then sets back to default. Am sure that all the text on the 500 i.e in calender, notes & contacts is much larger and an awful lot more legible.........Just wish I could sort that ******* camera sound out. It's a shocker!

Font size and graphics generally appear larger on K500 because it has far less pixels(128x 160)on a larger screen(1.9). K700 has 176x220 pixels on a 1.8 (diagonal) screen.
AS for the shutter sound, put your phone on silent mode and go on snapping.

not necessary. even when the phone is silent, the some phones make the clapping sound when taking a picture.
