Hi All,
I had a scan for a similar problem but couldn't find anything so here goes.
I recently had my T68 upgraded to the T68i (R2E006) SW by Car Phone Warehouse in the UK. It is an unlocked phone originally bought on the O2 tariff but I use my Orange SIM in it.
The phone worked fine for about 5 days and all the new functionality is great, but as of yesterday it does not seem to be able to get an Orange reception. The reception indicator drops from full bars to nothing when trying to make a call and is generally very erratic. If the phone is called it goes straight to voicemail.
I have tried an O2 SIM in it and this works absolutely fine. I have also tried my Orange SIM in another handset and the reception is as expected.
Has anyone else ever come across this and knows a cure? I am thinking of taking the phone back to CPW and getting it reflashed.
What does the panel think???
