i'm dont think you can disable this feature as it is a key battery saving feature. However i could be wrong.... hold out for a reply from someone who has a T610

@ 50cent- i know it's not, i've been posting from my phone, and by mistake i reposted my reply from another topic which remained in the phone. And I couldn't erase it or edit it from the phone, so I had to wait for another reply, so i could correct myself. Anyway, screensaver hides sms and calls and can't be disabled.

@imho, I think that feature is anoying, but really helps to save battery energy, and its not possible to change or desactivate it.

@bla it does NOT hide calls or messages.

So it does or not hide missing calls / incoming sms?
To save battery, automatically turning off the light isn't enough?

AFAIK The K700 was the first SE to show icons for missed calls/received SMS/MMS in screensaver/powersave mode.My Siemens S55 did that, and I remember thinking how good it was as opposed to the T68/610

that's what I think too, and why I ask about it, because this is really annoying...
