Hi. I want to know if there are any stores that sells k700i housings and keypads here in Philippines. I want to get an OEM housing and keypad for my k700i to bring back its new look. An info or a URL on the store(s) or the seller(s) would be greatly appreciated.

Have you personally seen the quality of those imitations? Are they good enough?

I've looked through the net for k700i spare replacements and there are a few at eBay and at some china website (url below). I don't intend on buying the housing and keypads over the net if I can somehow buy it here in the Philippines.

I'll inquire Semicon later on about the housing if they do have it. Did you happen to have your housing replaced as well or have you replaced the housing yourself?

I know that most SE phones aren't made for housings to be replaced but I found a guide on how to replace the housing on a k700i and from the looks of it seems pretty straightforward. I only intend on replacing the front and batter cover so it should be easy, not the middle housing and camera cover.

in semicon, front cover of k700i is p1126.00 except for the quickshare sticker (p42.00), keypad is p288.00 and battery cover is p605.00

further, semicon will be the one who will replace your front cover all you need to pay is the casing and the installation is free

Thanks for the info. That sounds great and it seems like a good deal considering they do the housing replacement free of charge. The front cover and battery cover seems costly but I'd pay for it anyway. I think I might buy the full housing, though I'd only have the front, battery cover and keypads replaced.

There isn't a semicon branch in my area though. I'll just buy the housing and keypad from them and replace them myself. Thanks again.

@covex: i don't think semicon will let you buy the housing without them installing it!! based on experience!
