hi,
i am having trouble with SE DT for my 910, i get errorswhen i try to customise the desktop,
i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times, but it hasnt solved the problem, the desktop still stays the same as before it was uninstalled?
how can i fully unistall this app?
do i need to clear registry settings or something?

There is always the possibility of restoring a back up that yo made before you installed SEDT. I hope you have a recent backup.
You should make it a habit to backup your phone before testing out new software that changes the interface such as Handy Day, Tracker or SEDT.

and with no problems
i guess u have errors with ur files
that occur when u install and uninstall files to much
and thats normal
so u have to master reset ur phone

im tyring to back up my contacts now,,
i just copied the contacts.ini from :
C:\system\apps\contacts\Contacts.ini
on my p910 to my pc,,,
after i have done the master reset if i drag it back in will it save all my original contacts??

uninstall it from your computer and erase all the refering entries in the registry. Then re-install it.

To back up your contacs, open up contacts manager and send them all to your email adress. This creates a file in the vCard format, which is guaranteed to work in the 910i after it's been cleared/reset.
I wouldn't suggest dragging and dropping the .ini file.
