> sony ericsson k700i java sockets problem

I am writting a client-server application on java sockets. I'd like to have a server on my PC, and client on the phone. With SDK from Sony Ericsson website and k700i simulator everything looks fine. When I try to run my application on the phone I get IOException. Could you give me some advice ? Probably I've got a problem with network configuration on my phone but I can't find any example for solving my problem. I would be grateful for your guidelines.

Sony claims that k700i supports MIDP 2.0 and it contains sockets mechanism. In addition in WTK with k700i device selected, application works. I think it wouldn't if that phone didn't support it. If I'm wrong, could you explain it to me more with more details ?
