Hi all

i have been pulling my hair out as i had found an excellent web site about 6 weeks ago detailing the differences between the branded and non-branded phone. I have tried the search function on several website with no joy

I know the vodafone branded S700i phone has got a few functions disabled compared to a "normal" S700i but i can not remember what they are. I know one is that the vodafone s700i cannot play an MP3 as a ringtone - but are there any others?

Thanks for reading

I believe they also restrict the email POP3 server to their the Vodafone one so you need an account with them and you can't use your own.

Also got Vodafone Live instead of the "More" button. Mine was Vodafone branded, I decided to debrand and upgrade the firmware a couple of weeks back and I'm glad.

Don't forget the UGLY blue/red menu icons which also happen to be in the wrong places!

Just to confirm, I have an S700i, and can use my own POP server for email.
