iv had my k700i for a few months now and my friend bought one the other day,iv noticed his backlight is purple where as mine is just a normal white glow,can you change it in the menus or is this a new model? they are both orange branded

its not an option...

its like how some batteries last longer than others. your light is white, his is pink. just accept it

What do you mean by backlight? The one under the keypads or the screen backlight which is largely influenced by a chosen theme?

the leds supposedly glow pink because more power is given to them if the correct voltage is applied it glows white. apparently this is a manufacturing fault in the PCB ( or something of this sort is what happens. i am told )
