I have been using my HBH-35 without problems until today when for some reason each time I now switch on it goes straight into the pairing mode "flashing red and green light". I can switch off fine, but when switching back on it starts the pairing routine. Is there a way to re-set the thing.

Since it goes into pairing mode, it must have been reset and has forgotten everything about your phone or PC or whatever you used to use it with.
Have you tried to delete it from the list in your phone, and pair again?
