> Life span of SE Batteries

I have a T610. I purchased it last August. I just wanted to know how many months or years did your SE battery lasted?
Include also the model of your SE.

I'm not sure either, but I have a 5 year old (if not older!) Ericsson GA628 that still holds a good 2-3 day charge, and it's on it's original battery!
It helps if you occasionally fully charge and discharge the battery (about once a month) and when you have the phone brand new, always give it the full 14-16 hour charge they say to do, regardless of how much charge the battery comes with. Fully discharge it if you can the first 3 or so times you charge the battery, and it should last ages

Proper care would include:
1. not exposing it to high temperatures
2. not allowing it to go down to almost zero charge.
3. when in standby for a long period make sure it is charged not below 40% of capacity.

My very old Ericsson T28s (the first /// with included Li-Pol battery, the first 3v /// phone, the first /// phone that had a 'tabbed' menu system similar to UIQ, and the new K500) This one can give me 1 solid day of use... although I know the battery is about to die already. I bought this phone back in 1998 I think.
I have an Ericsson R310s with the original battery, I think I got this one around 2000 ... still gives me 3 full days standby.
My P800 was over 2 years old, battery still gave me a little over 2 full days of use.

I'd give you my personal story, despite not from SE (yet). O:-)
I've experienced that Li-ion batteries do have a calendar limit: even the highest attention you may give to them can't stop from having them barely usable after 4 years.
What I'm experiencing is that now my blokia (!), after 2-3 minutes of call alerts and shuts-off even with a 3/4th of batt gauge.
After restart, the batt gauge display a quite good charge. Not so, of course...
The high absortion during call asks too much current than the one the battery can offer..
