> SMS Delivery Reports on P910i
Bookmark topic
I have recently upgraded from a T610 to a P910i. On the T610, I could set SMS delivery reports to "on" so that I automatically received a delivery report for every SMS sent. I cannot find this option on the P910i; only the option to set it for *each* new SMS. Is there a way to set it to automatically request a delivery report, rather than having to do it manually each time?
Many thanks!

A strange and annoyingly missing feature from all of the P-Series.

yeah, that really sucks, I want to type sms messages with the flip closed, but everytime I send a sms I have to open the flip to enable report status :s really annoying.
on the P800 in c:\system\APPS\QMAPP (QMAPP is the sms program from the P800) there's a file called QMapp.ini, wouldn't it be possible to have delivery report enabled by using a modified QMapp.ini file?

Some networks will provide delivery reports regardless of the model of phone. If you are in the UK, Vodafone and Orange do this, at least. I think on Orange you start the body of your message with RCT (must be capitals, no space afterwards needed). I think on Voda you prefix the number of the recipient with *0#.

On o2 u can get a delivery report by putting *0# at the start of the message. (The code doesn't show at their end)
