I'm having problems with my 128Mb Memory Stick Duo,
when I put it in my P900 it displays the "Disk corrupt d:" message,
when I put it in my digital camera gives me a "memory stick error"
and when I put it in my memory card reader the red light stays lit (which would normally just blink red once when inserting a card) until I remove the card.
I tried to format the memory card using my P900 (since I cannot access it on the PC or digital camera) but it gives the error "Disk Corrupt".
What can I do? I'm guessing I've lost everything on it for a start. There was a video clip I wanted to keep and hadn't backed up yet. Is it a return to manufacturer?
Thanks,
Mark

I had the exact same problem.
It ended up that 300kb was corrupt and stopped the thing dead.
Best to try the
Search on Corrupt Duo

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=50070#post657669 sbc_dk stated that they formatted the c: drive and this sorted out their problem, however I don't see how this would help as the card is not readable in any device I've tried (tried it in another memory card reader on another PC and it still doesn't read it).

If you cant format it using FAT (not FAT32) on your PC then bye bye MS...

I have new P910i - it shut itself down overnight and this morning when I switched it on - it stated "Disk D Corrupt" and will now not switch on at all.
Any ideas - or since 6 days old take it back to seller as clearly not working. I have not downloaded anything yet on to this phone as am technically useless!
Any thoughts welcome

whoareyou*
i would send it back to the manufactor / store u got it from even if u do manage to format it or extract the files it may be damaged somewhere and this could happen again, as long as you have brought it form a reputable firm i dont see a problem, as regards to the video i would try the programe surgested above as its free, but it may well be the video which is corrupt

Thank you all for your input, I've tried searching the forum but couldn't find any other solutions. I'll send an e-mail to the company I bought it from to see what they say.
markm22 have you tried turning the phone on with the card removed?
