Hi all, Merry Christmas etc...
I am playing with Agile Messenger for the first time today, downloaded the newest version from their website.
Its not working.
I have done a good search but only got general and non-helpful info. Is anyone experienced with it enough to help me out? I am trying to connect to the Yahoo! service as I use that 24/7. My WAP, GPRS are all fully enabled and I can connect to the net, send MMS's etc without problem. Agile just simply wont connect to the Yahoo! Service though.
Why oh Why oh Why??

u need to connect through an internet connection not wap or gprs ..
tell me what service provider you are with and i will find the settings for you ..
you can make sure the program is working by putting phone in docking station and clicking passthru on agile messenger ...this will then connect through your computers internet .

Still no joy. I put it on passthru but nothing changed. Maybe my work has PC has some sort of firewall stopping it connecting?
I'm sorry to be a pain but any other ideas to try?
Ok sorry, I am with Vodafone (UK).

Does it cost a lot do you find to run this service on your phone?

No, not really
Vodafone is £2.35 per Mb, but you will never really exceed that in one month. Depends how much you chat as to what bandwidth is used really ....
