I uploaded jpg from pc. Its 1280 x 960 but when I view it in camera mode I cannot zoom in, like I can if it was a photo. What is the difference.

Also do the files need certain filename to be viewable e.g. SDCxxxx.jpg cause sometimes I can't see them.

How long should it take to upload with USB docking station (250Kb) it takes a minute. Is this right or does it need tweeking?

Thanks.

I transferred all my photos taken with a T610 and K700 to the S700 and only got empty boxes until I clicked on them, it seems only the pictures taken by the inbuilt camera can be viewed thumbnail style. I never tried renaming the files but that may work.

I found the transfer rate very slow between my pc and docking station. Not having much experiance with this type of transfer I'm not sure how to tweak it.

Well I have managed to do what I wanted to do. i.e. upload images to the phone and be able to zoom in. This is great for things like maps/timetables etc!

Not sure exactly what determines whether it works but starting with a downloaded photo, pasting in the required image and saving with a slightly higher compression ratio, which is then uploaded, seems to do it.

When I go into file manager, camera pictures etc. it has the ORIGINAL thumbnail which is a bit unfortunate but I am sure there is a way around that. Perhaps photo the "map", download it, paste over the map file and upload. Phew.

Surely, there is an easier way. Anyone done this?
