> s700i freezes with another sim card

hello guys, i live in new delhi, India.
i use a SE s700i, and i was using the IDEA Cellular Post paid sim card, and yesterday i got a new Hutch PrePaid Sim
card, but whenever i put the Prepaid sim card in my phone, it freezes after like 10-15 seconds and then i have to take out the battery and put it in again to switch it on.
but the phone works just fine with the older IDEA sim card.
can anyone help
