Hi i have read info about this but was not convinced at all i think i have the answer the red led on K700i har nothing to do with battery i happens when the service providers make some kind of network changes i had enough battery to last about 8 to 10 hours but i say the red light blinking wondering i was low on battery i started to charge my phone but the blinking wont stop untill i left my cell for some time it automatically went off during that time i was not able to surf gprs or send mms........

Buddy i am using K700i and the red led below the power button blinks when low battery this is what people think but like i said in my previous post that is not the case i think it blinks when there is some kind of network network activity like it did today guess i will have to check with the service center if they know the reason why and when it happenes ......

The only time that happens to me is when the battery is low. You must just have had a slight fault or something at that time. Its just a freak moment with your phone. Probably never happen again.

Yes I realise u have a K700 & the point I was making was that some Ericssons used to flash the LED red when there was no Network signal (and green when there was).
Obviously u have no green LED but maybe the red one flashes witn no signal as well as low battery. So did u have signal?
