I am receiving my k700i tomorrow,but i am not sure wot all this fireware and flashing is all about!can you please help

! upgrade the firmware to the R2L... one pal, after receiving your mobile, as it will eliminate 'some' bugs and will surely improve the battery life by 40%, as what are saying in the other threads dude. Good Luck, nice fone though!

@voice - the firmware is the Operating System in the phone. Flashing is used to upgrade the firmware or to remove the branding such as those of voda or O2 etc.
Are you buying a branded phone ?
