My week old K700 will Not connect to Orange World, it doesnt even load up the intro screen - just says connecting ....then .... connection failed. I called Orange 5 times today - they sent me sim updates and even the settings for wap to install but no success! Yet when i put my sim card into my p900 IT WORKS! and when i put my p900 sim card (different number and contract) into my k700 guess what? IT WORKS! so how the hell do i overcome this problem! Orange have just simply said we'll get our technical team to call you but anything up to 11days this time of year!!!! any guesses?..................

i'm not sure, but i think each phone has different wap settings. maybe they sent you the wrong settings

I've checked on both my simcards on both my phones and they work! but the one sim card that came with the phone is only giving me problems with the k700 not in my p900. i have tried to go to the sony ericsson website to try an update but this is the message i got when i went to run the se update service software -
Your device is not permitted to use this service
Your operator does not approve the use of this service with this device.

I can help you in ahead and perform master reset for settings once the settings are gone and any corrupt setting will also be erased then call orange to send you a fresh settings for gprs and it will work .....but only perform a reset settings and not a reset all ;-)

ok settings have been received from orange and installed on my phone for the second time AND................it DOESN'T work! again......
im stumped......
Can anybody take the time to check all thier k700 gprs wap settings and forward them to me at all i would be very grateful if i got something to check it against! please.........
