> V800 dropping calls with bluetooth headset?

Hi all,
Has anyone had trouble with the V800 just dropping calls without any warning...specifically when using a bluetooth headset.
A couple of days ago, I used a Logitech bluetooth headset for the whole day and made around 30-40 calls. Perhaps 6-8 of these dropped mid-call with no indication of the cause, no tri-tone or loss of signal whatever. I heard a small beep in the headset and the call was gone.
Yesterday, I used a wired headset and had no call drops, though admittedly I did not make as many calls.
Before the finger is pointed at the headset, I have used it constantly for the last 6 months on my Z600 without any problems whatsoever.
I have tried to do some tests, like going from 3G to non-3G whilst on a call, but I cannot replicate the problem. It seems pretty random.
So has anyone else experienced dropped calls? I can't decide if it's the network or the handset!

Try again with the bluetooth headset. If it happens again, there's something wrong. I bought the HBH-200 15 days ago and I haven't noticed any problem yet

u will find that the v800 is really picky on which bt headsets will work 100%. I have a v800 and a Siemens BT headset and (touch wood) have had no dropped calls or ne other problems... looks like it may b this causing ur probs...

I am waiting on my third replacement on the Sony V800i because I have been experiencing the same problems as explained above.
However, my calls are dropped on a random basis, with or without bluetooth headset. I have called up customer services to ask whether it could be a network problem but they insist it is a phone fault.
NB: The first one dropped my calls every 10 mins or so, the 2nd one is a lot less frequent, but still drops my voice calls every now and then, perhaps once a day.
Perhaps other people have been experiencing these problems??

its not a problem in the UK. I know this as i get Impact reviews for faults within voda in the UK. we are having a few come back for various reasons... The ones involving BT headsets are just due to compatibility as said above but the other probs are generally SW problems etc...

Yes I have, but this has happend on my Z1010. Still waiting for my V800 to arrive.
Hope this one doesen`t have the same problems. Annoying....

I am based in the UK too, so this problem has left me quite baffled. Could it be that the first batch of V800s have software problems?
Having looked around on some forums, it seems some people don't have this 'call dropping' problem with the phone. My bluetooth headset is the Sony Ericsson HBH-300 so I shouldn't really have a problem with compatibility issues.

check with your local voda store... i work at the HQ. we have had a few reports of this problem but as of yet i am unaware of it bein on one SW version in particular... i have r1f and have never had the problem u r sayin u have.
