I'm using the JAM now as my primary phone and I love it.

I have always been a pocket pc fan since the first iPAQ became available and to have pocket pc functionality combined with a phone in a device not much bigger than the K700 etc, and with a much larger screen ay higher resolution, is just great!

I'm much happier with this than I have been with the P series and all the software that I use on my larger iPAQ also runs on this one

you should also take a look at the i-mate Jam thread (topic 73358)

I too defected to the Jam. Sold my P900 to my best mate and got one of these little babies on import, it rocks, and I now use it as my main phone. Everything that the XDA series can do but so SMALL!!!

the call history is quite comprehensive and is for each call. It shows the date, time, duration, caller and whether it was incoming or outgoing etc

the in call sound is a little hollow but certainly very clear

the loud speaker sound is fine except at the highest volume where it does become a little distorted

no screen is scratchproof so if you are the type of person who chucks it around a bit or keeps it in your pocket you might like to get a screen protector. personally I always use a case, and the JAM comes with quite a good horizontal belt case, and never use screen protectors

Camera is passable in bright light conditions, absolutely UNUSABLE in even slightly dim conditions. Wont suit those looking for a camera good enough for the pub!
