hi, guys... wat is with NOKIA 6260/7610... wen i try to send a ringtone it says cannot send protected items! that is if i try sending via bluetooth. and if i try sending through MMS it says item not supported! ne ideas y..???
jus replaced my k700 with 6260 coz phones 4 u had it for tiiime! so as a gesture of good will they xchanged it with that one. but still have my PERFECT P910i which makes everything possible:)

It's probaly a DRM (digital rights managment) file. These can be download to your phone but can't be edited or transfered to another device.

Your fault for getting a Nokia
On a more serious note, I know that the DRM on earlier Nokias (the one where you couldn't re-send bought ringtones) could be bypassed by putting a $ sign in front of it's name. Once it had been sent, the 4 could be removed, and the DRM wouldn't return.
