> Problem with my p910i (Orange)
Bookmark topic
Just got my P910i (On orange unfortunately). (Used to have P800)
I've been playing around with it for a bit and found i'm having afew problems which i'm hoping someone may be able to help with.
After searching around since yesterday i haven't found any help that worked about the following.
1) Although the phone firmware seems to have been updated to R3A04 it did error at 46% and stop. It seems to be working ok although the orange desktop was not removed which i was hoping for as i think its the reason for problem 2. (tried with power cable connected and without, allowed all from firewall and disconnected my virus checker)
2) All software incorrectly recognises my IMEI number, I have read a few posts on this and think its the orange software on the phone causing the problem which a master reset should sort out. Unfortunately i don't know the master reset code, tried 0000, 00000, 1111, 12345 to no avai. (tried the ericsson desktop method of removing the orange desktop but did not help either)
Anyone got any ideas?

well the easiet way to fix your problem would be to get a generic firmware flash. This will cost you though - depends what country you are in.
regarding the phone lock code, i would contact the phones previous owner to see if they changed it.

Thanks, i have already contacted the previous owner as i assumed he must have changed to code but still waiting for a reply.( I guess he has better things to do on Christmas day
I don't want to go to the trouble of taking it somewhere to be hard flashed but will do as a last resort.
Praying the previous owner has the code.
I don't suppose anyone has master reset their orange p910i and can tell me if it did the job.
