For anyone who is interested The S700 is now available at
carphonewarehouse sim-free for £349.99...Which is a significant reduction from the previous price of £500..I know many did'nt buy this phone due to its high price so now its a little easier!

huh ? The s700 is already available here in India for 30000 INR that's around 357 pounds (where the heck is the pound symbol on the keyboard ?) Not a significant decrease i'd say.

last monday the cpw instore price was £500. so yeah i would say it was significant!
i assume the instore price has dropped as well as the online?

cr@p!!! It NEVER sold for that much here in the Phil... except on the gray market.
£340 was the retail price ever since... the only ones that sold it for more were gray market dealers who jacked up their own prices.
