Does anyone have any ideas? Like any software / apps / normal methods?

To the SIM? You can only transfer as much as your SIM can store... which isn't that much... even with the newer high capacity SIMs.
The problem with SIM contact storage is that it can't hold all the contact info the new phones can.
The P-series phones can store so much info per contact... multiple numbers, photo, notes, etc..etc... a SIM can only hold one number per entry... it can 'cheat' multiple numbers per entry by renaming each entry's end with a number or H, W, M designation.
Are you trying to back-up your contacts? Or just transfer them to your SIM for use on another phone? I don't keep anything at all on my SIM anymore due to its limitations. I just back up everything on my PC.
