I have ripped some CDīs to AAC with iTunes and transfered the songs to my Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo. But how do I play them with the music player in the phone? Canīt find them in the music player.
Guess this is a very basic question.
Thanks in advance!

The built in music player dosn't play AAC format you need to encode in mp3 for that. The Video player will play them if you want but it can be very clumbersome.
If you don't like mp3 then you can try unrealplayer which will play Ogg files which is another high quality format but I find mp3 format good enough for use on the phone when I'm out and about.

Thanks for your answer. But it is the same with mp3, canīt see them in the music player. Do I have to create a folder or something? I have folders with different music on my memory stick, but how do I do to see them in the music player?

You will need to make sure that your folders are created in the Media/Audio folder on either the internal or external memory. I do not think the audio player will look in other places.

According to the P910i whitepaper:

Music player Formats: MP3, AAC, MP4, M4A, WAV, AU, AMR, MIDI (G-MIDI level 1 with 24 voices polyphony), RMF, iMelody

@Maratonmannen

All music has to be in the Audio-folder on memstick or in the phone

The folders are created in the Media Files\Audio\Unfiled on the external memory. But I canīt see the folders there when I open the music player.

Ok, I think I know what happened... did you drag the files into the Duo via the phone... or via a card reader?

If via a card reader... you have to make sure you placed them in the Media/audio/unfiled folder... not just in the audio folder.

Or make a new folder in the audio folder called MP3 as in my pic above

And you, dear sir, have failed to do your Homework!
(it's a link to a thread of mine that states that yes, it is possible to play AAC on the P910i in the audio player.)
