Does it work? Can you download your own settings? I know the Vodaphone`s stuff`s there to stay, but can u edit settings to your own network?

you can unlock it, but the phone will be still voda branded which restricts access to just voda settings.

this will change very sony though as i believe i am sure debranding of the V800 will come into existance.

Hmm, I have heard roumours that there is a possibility to add two internet settings?

Am I wrong?

So having a V800 here in Norway without Vodaphone network, is just no good? Or does it work on Norwegian network, without connecting to the internet, mms, or wap. Just using it as a phone really?

well, if the phone is unlocked - then you can put any sim from your country in it and use it successfully. However as i dont have access to a V800 i dont know but i would pressume they lock the internet settings to Voda as with other branded SE phones.

It going to depend where you get your V8 from, if its from the UK then you will only be able to add one more Internet account..so on 3 you will have a choice of either web portal or mms, you cant have both. I went down the mms option as I dont really bother with 3's content.

I am certain someone is working on the settings to unlock the pre-installed configs so it just a matter of when.

I have an unlocked V800 its great, I don't want to debrand it though as I love it the way it is

Working for Vodafone has its benifits, the unlock code generator on the stores computers is a gold mine lol

What do I need to do. Do I have to be a UK citizen, or a place where Vodaphone is present, or this something that could be done online?

Just asking mate, don`t want to put you in tough spot!

But if u could help, I sure would appriciate it!

Just send me a pm
